When the 2012 MLS draft kicks off at Kansas City next month, won two players selected
Duke University standout Andrew Wenger and Akron forward Darren Mattocks has signed a generation adidas contract, some sources say FOX soccer on Monday.
Wenger and the prospect of two Mattocks consensus in the draft, and the expansion of the Montreal impact will be looking to choose between them with one overall pick. In Wenger, impact will get central defender-skilled with the versatility to play in the midfield, while Mattocks was quick to help Montreal to positions need to be.
Wenger currently in our national team camps under-23 and has impressed central defender despite not playing a position at Duke during two years (he played as a junior player of the year and Lineman of his second season).
Mattocks, starter Akron's 2010 team won the College Cup, scoring 21 goals in the zipper in 2011 as a striker for Akron's young side.
