A Florida man who wanted to credit card fraud, theft and identity theft in Orange County were arrested on Monday the Police Captain Mahwah, Mahwah Stephen Jaffe said in a release Tuesday.
Fernando a. Valdez, 49, was arrested around 4 Monday when police said he and his son, who attended the lessons of gymnastics in Mahwah. Jaffe said police in Florida said Mahwah PD they believe Valdez and his son are there.
Valdez, who police said worked as a guard for the Orlando Metro gymnastics in Florida, and his wife allegedly "steal personal information and data from a file client gymnastics facilities. They then opened a fake e-mail account in the name of six victims of the information is compromised, "said Jaffe.
Jaffe said they allegedly used credit cards to pay for their 14-year-old child gymnastics training and competition, as well as other personal expenses including hotel stays and airfare.
Valdez's's wife was arrested in Florida, but according to Jaffe, she and her son moved to Kearny, NJ and children started attending a gymnastics facility in Mahwah.
